| There is nothing more exhilarating than to paint on location, capturing that one moment in time. Each painting is an opportunity for a fresh look at the spectacular location, light and color. As I continue to paint my surroundings, each piece becomes yet another part of an ongoing dialog with the landscape. | ||||

Beverly Bruntz received her Master of Arts degree from California State University, Fullerton and worked for several years as a graphic artist. Since pursuing painting full-time, her paintings have been juried into numerous nationwide and regional shows. For the first 10 years of plein air painting she explored and painted any open space she could find in Southern California. Inspired by the light and ruggedness of the semi dessert landscape. Many of her California works include eucalyptus, oaks and mountains. In 2009 she relocated to her home state of Kentucky. Rolling green acres, forests, ponds, creeks and country roads are now part of her everyday life and favorite subjects to paint. Beverly is a member of the Oil Painters of America, Indiana Plein Air Painters Association and the Plein Air Painters of Kentucky. Beverly is represented by GALLERY ON GLASSELL 115 N.
